THIS WEEKS TOP ARTIST (20/08/10)

Sorry for not posting my top artist for about, mmm, maybe 3 weeks? Been busy and sometimes laziness attack.. :p Anyway, here is my fave artist this week, most of them are bands, including probably my fave artist, The Postal Service. They easily became #1 this week, apparently because i can't stop listening to their remix of John Lennon's Grow Old With Me. You decide which one better, the original or the remix one. I love the remixed version more, in fact it became one of my fave song of all time. Listen here for the remix, pay attention to the lyrics:

grow old with me the postal service mp3 | lyrics

"Grow old along with me
The best is yet to be
When our time has come
We will be as one..."

And i love listening to Mew's Beautiful Balloons. This track reminds me of Silversun Pickups, no? Explosions In The Sky is what i also heard recently, thanks to Johnny my boy for this post-rock sounds :) Also, i have lot listening to Katie Melua's cover of Just Like Heaven - probably because i've heard it the earlier on one of that Fringe soundtrack... and I also have The xx, Team Sleep, The Cure, and Copeland as my playlist this week.

Oh before i forgot, Hospital Podcast 119 and 120 is out last week, and thanks to Tony aka London Elektricity for reading my shout again! :D (although he called me with Gladys instead of Dhany.. maybe that's because my screenname is 'gadisradio' hehe)

Overall, it's a great week, see ya guys soon :)

THIS WEEKS TOP ARTIST (11/06/10)

Been listening to Netsky again this past two weeks. Maybe i just want to celebrate his album released in my own way :D FYI, his album released on May 28th, along with the Hospital Podcast 115 with Special Guest Netsky (maybe that's my fave podcast with Hospital Podcast 112 before).

Well, congrats to you, Boris :D

AFTERNOON CONVERSATIONS

Nothing much happen this week, except that the fact it's my favourite month and that i'm becoming more often than before about all those Netsky thingy. That's a fact too that his album, which supposed to be out in June 14, will be out faster than i think, on May 31st. I think that's a good idea, remembering its already leaked a month before. The Launching Party itself takes place in East Village, London, on June 10th and on June 18 together with Hospitality Brighton. Look, he even invited me :p Too bad i cannot come :(

Talking about invitation, Boris aka Netsky is such a humble person. Been chat with him on AIM yesterday about his 300-signed pre-order CD, and how i think i will never got it because of the shipping things. And how that's the last thing i want for my birthday. Surprisingly, he's willing to bring me his CD on November when he perform in Paradise in Bali. Oh Boris, you don't know how you've made my day :D (wanna know what we've been talking?) See?
Oh and there's a new photos of him from Springtime 2010 (look, i know now i'm acting like a fangirl, shame on me, but whatever..)

Oh and Hospital Podcast 114 kinda made my day too. As the web said:

New music from Bop, Taxman, Sunchase and of course the mighty Netsky. London Elektricity previews the Netsky album which drops on May 31st as well as filling you in on the launch party at East Village on June 10th. Also there is news about the Bop sample pack and “Remix Your Mind” release. Tony also rounds up what was another awesome night for Hospitality at Matter. Keep on subscribing and buying the music.

Oh i love you, Hospital, for doing jobs like these. And i love you, Boris, for everything. And i love you, May, for being a great month, my favorite month :)

Catch ya later folks,
xx
