THIS WEEKS TOP ARTIST (06/05/11)

Hello everyone! I know it's sounds cliché but i do miss you guys! Haven't post since March 31st , hhh, my bad.. But I'm back :)
Still doing my Top Artist post (well i hope you don't mind) as my theme for Fridays. I listened much to Télépopmusik lately, i know it's very late but i love their song called Anyway. And the same goes up to Lusine, i loooved their song "Twilight" indeed! Others are, well, you know, Netsky :D I always put his song on a maximum volume with headphones up. By the way, he did a 30-minutes mix for Urban Nerd's 4th birthday! You can even download it for free!

DRUM&BASSARENA : EVOLUTION

Like my previous post on Javabass wordpress blog, i will definitely post this album to my blog. I mean, how can i don't give a damn about this mind blowing album?! 2 CDs and 40 tracks are enough to make your body can't stop moving :p
The Drum&BassArena will going to release their latest compilation album called Drum&BassArena: Evolution. I told ya, this album is BIG! D&BA has launched it's mini-site, where you can hear the clips of tunes, tracklistings, TV advert, and interviews with artists such as Jubei, Wilkinson, Prototypes, and Rockwell. Not to mention their giving away FREE MINIMIX which you can download from this site! I wanna tell you the full tracklists, but why don't you diggin' for yourself? :)

This album is going to be release on 3rd April in digital download and on the 4th April in CDs. Can't freakin' wait!

THIS WEEKS TOP ARTIST (17/09/10)

Not much reviews today, but i love love love the Drum&BassArena Anthology Minimix! Haven't got the full album yet, so i think i've to be happy with the minimix. The album itself contains of 3 CDs with LOADS of massive drum n bass tunes from the early days until now. And when i say masive, i really mean it. Check out the album microsite here. There you can listen and download the minimix. The forum says:

THIS WEEKS TOP ARTIST (27/08/10)

Another weekend, so its time to the Top Artist, wooow it's freakin' fast! Heard Netsky as usual, plus Camo & Krooked helped me through the deadline and stuff :p Also there are Blur, Mew, Joy Division, and Digital Ivy. But hey, there's Anya Marina there! Actually i never realized that she has a very beautiful voice until i heard her song "Satellite Heart", which happen to be one of the Twilight Saga soundtrack. You should check her out!

Digital Ivy is my boyfriend's project. Started in 2005, playing and experimenting with trip hop and ambient sounds. As the years pass by the genre was growing from IDM to shoegaze, and lately 2010 a mixture of drum and bass/dub. Sometimes the lines between genre's are blurred, but that is how Digital Ivy is.
