WTF IS THAT ON MY FACE ?!

What's that on my face? So i was browsing through silly websites and i landed here. A converse blog about making your own paper-head and stuff. I turned my webcam on, and got something like this:

HELLO TO OUR FRIEND FROM PHILLIPINES!

I just visited by my good friend from the Phillipines. She's Ria Silva, an adorable woman interested in Indonesia, and she has a great interest to MUSIC! :) Hi Ria! She was in Jakarta for maybe 5or 6 days, but we can only met for 1 day on September 13. It was a GREAT day, with friends come along. They're my friends whom also Ria's - it's Nunu, Nadya, Ari, Bram, and later at that day my boyfriend John came along to joined us.
First we go to 7 Eleven near Grand Indonesia, and then we gone to HeyFolks! Shop. We also ate bakso atom near HeyFolks!, and then we go to Melly's Bar. GOOOOOD TIMEEEESS!
Ria bring us a LOT of stuffs (thanks a BUNCH Ria!). We got a rayban, i got an Andy Warhol tote bag and Andy Warhol t-shirt, and not to forget: THE SMITHS t-shirt!!! That's just - wicked.

I AM ATTENDING COLLEGE JUST FOR THIS

Hello.
Maybe some of you noticed that i've done my final project in February (well i dont think you guys would really even care of that), but the Graduation Day itself, called "wisuda" in Bahasa, just held a couple days ago, exactly in December 12th, on a sunny Saturday.
Actually my friends and i have been waiting for this moment for our entire life, so we just get excited when it comes to a mass photo session like we always did.

I AM JUST A HUMAN BEING

Heeeelloo everyone.
It's been about a month since my graduation. Yea, finally, i've graduated from my uni. And if you remember, i've done all that "font-y" things for that.
I'll place my final works of that font some time in my deviantArt page. :D

In the mean time, i got all the time in the world for just doing nothing except checking out the net. I mean all that MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, Deviantart, Last.fm, Twitter, Plurk, you name it!
Beside all that "social-networking" site i have managed for about... mmm.. i dont know..maybe in the last 4 years? I to have some 'serious' website here you just have to stop by and enjoy.

Haven't much things to talk about lately. Just doing some stuffs on the net. And see what i've got.

SAYA BENCI MUSIM HUJAN

Musim ujan dateng lagi. Fxxk. Padahal gua paling benci musim ujan.
Jadi inget pengalaman setahun yang lalu saat gua terjebak banjir karena berkeras berangkat ke tempat kerja praktek yang berada di Pulo Gadung.
Ini adalah pengalaman gua setahun yang lalu, diambil dari blog gua di MySpace tanggal 3 Februari 2008,
yang masih keinget banget sampe sekarang.

Walaupun sudah seumur hidup di Jakarta, pasti belum banyak yang pernah merasakan naik bus Mayasari Bakti dengan badan setengah diluar, sambil kaki terendam oleh air banjir yang ketinggiannya mencapai pintu bus. Think of it!

Yah setidaknya gua pernah merasakan hal itu. Kejadiannya saat Jakarta diguyur hujan yang tak berhenti sejak tanggal 31 Januari 2008 malam.
Tanggal 1 Februari, gua sudah bersiap-siap untuk berangkat ke kantor tempat magang gua yang terletak di daerah Pulogadung. Ketika akan meninggalkan rumah pada pukul 07.30 pagi, hujan masih saja setia mengguyur Jakarta. Akhirnya gua menunggu hujan berhenti dengan memainkan gitar yang ada di sebelah gua. Saat kira-kira pukul 9.45, dan hujan belum berhenti juga, gua pun memutuskan untuk berangkat dengan meminjam payung milik salah seorang teman. Gua-pun sukses naik ke dalam busway Transjakarta dari halte Senen.

Tetapi, awal kejadian sesungguhnya baru dimulai saat mulai terlihat kemacetan yang cukup parah di depan ITC Cempaka Mas. Busway yang gua naiki pun sempat +/- 1/2 jam tidak bergerak. Ternyata, banjir sudah mulai menampakkan dirinya di daerah itu. Akhirnya, busway yang gua tumpangi pun mengurungkan niat untuk meneruskan sampai ke Pulogadung dikarenakan banjir yang cukup parah di daerah sekitar sana, dan hanya mengantar penumpangnya sampai halte Pedongkelan yang terletak tak jauh dari Pul Transjakarta Busway. Banyak penumpangnya yang akhirnya nekat turun dari pintu busway yang sangat tinggi itu (tanpa halte!!) dan berbondong-bondong naik ke sebuah bus PPD jurusan Pulogadung. Penumpang lain termasuk gua akhirnya diturunkan lewat pintu depan di Pul Transjakarta tersebut. Dengan tangan sudah keriput saking dinginnya, dan tanpa ada transportasi untuk kembali ke rumah, gua menunggu di pos penjagaan Transjakarta Busway selama kurang lebih 2 jam bersama orang-orang yang juga menunggu adanya transportasi.

Akhirnya, kira2 pukul 14.00, terlihatlah sebuah bus PPD Mayasari Bakti dengan bodi miring karena kelebihan beban. Karena itu terlihat sebagai satu-satunya cara untuk kembali ke daerah Senen, akhirnya gua pun ikut dalam bus itu. Seperti yang gua bilang di awal blog ini, yang gua maksud ikut dengan bus ini adalah dengan berusaha bergantungan di pintu masuk sebelah depan menggunakan telapak tangan yang sudah keriput dan memutih karena kedinginan, badan gua sebagian besar tetap diluar, dengan kaki yang sekali-kali terendam banjir yang tingginya mencapai pintu bus!!! Gila!! Parah!! Dengan keadaan itu, selama perjalanan yang lumayan panjang menuju Senen, gua berusaha untuk menjaga diri gua dan tas gua, dan melihat orang-orang di luar yang rumahnya sudah terendam banjir. Damn!
Akhirnya, gua berhasil sampai di Senen dengan selamat, dan langsung melanjutkan perjalanan menuju rumah menggunakan Metromini 17, tetap dengan badan yang menggigil kedinginan, dan telapak tangan kesemutan.
